The DreamClinic My client for this space is a massage therapist and reiki practitioner with a vision. She is creating a healing environment that will combine the various modalities to be practiced within the space with the energies of color and light. She is an ideal client for me! Visit the Dreamclinic. The entryway is filled with warm citrus yellow green, surrounded by outer walls of a cooler, soothing green. These greens are offset and complemented by a soft aquamarine. All the colors change and play off one another differently depending on the relative levels of daylight and incandescent light. The massage rooms continue with the green and blue themes, going through various shades of each from an earthy heather through a warm summer blue to a mauve. The colors are all picked for their balance of subtlety and glow. All these spaces lend a calming influence and will induce deep relaxation and reflection. The brightest spots are the bathrooms and the lunchroom, done in shades of energizing orange and "cork". Reds are found in bright patches here and there, in chairs and in the artwork which will provide a changing display of visual enjoyment. The long wall spaces host the work of local artists. Blond woodwork and a soft white trim will add to the overall effect of harmony and light, refreshment and effortless vitality. |
